Details From Our Last Meeting

Thanks to everyone for coming out to the Welcome Center this past Monday for our meeting. We went over the Organization Statement of Purpose and the Organizational Structure. We all agreed on the name PEACE for our block watch. Peace is an acronym for Positive Energy Achieves Community Endurance. This hopefully encourages others to get involved and to lend a hand in making our community stronger. We discussed the Quadrant Watch and the Website Calender. For those who did not make it to the meeting I would be happy to give anyone interested the handouts describing our organization and answer any questions. We handed out Block Watch signs which we can post in a window of our home. Soon we might get street signs! We also discussed having another meeting soon possibly at the Hmart food court. This would be more of an informal meet and greet. We could get some food at one of the restaurants and maybe talk about doing a Spring Clean (Block Clean up) around the neighborhood. Let me know what you guys think. I'd also like to go around and hand out the information to those in our area who did not attend the meeting.
